Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Lumecca Chest.

Lumecca is safe for many skin tones, but suitability depends on individual skin type and history. We perform a consultation and test patch to determine safety and customize settings for optimal results.

Most clients see noticeable improvement after one session, but optimal results typically require two to four treatments spaced four to six weeks apart, depending on severity of pigmentation and skin response.

Recovery is usually minimal: temporary redness, mild swelling, or darkening of pigmented spots may occur for several days. Most people resume normal activities immediately while following sun protection and aftercare guidance.

Lumecca effectively treats pigmentation and improves skin texture but is not specifically designed to erase deep scars or stretch marks. Some improvement may occur, but other modalities may be recommended for significant scar remodeling.

Most clients describe quick snapping sensations rather than sharp pain. We use cooling devices and can apply topical numbing if needed to maximize comfort. Discomfort is typically brief and well tolerated.

Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for at least two weeks and discontinue retinoids or harsh exfoliants as advised. After treatment, use gentle skincare, high SPF sunscreen, and follow scheduled follow-ups.
